GUIDO MARZORATI AND THE BLUGOS

The brothers Guido and Elisa Marzorati choose two different musical paths, which for some years made them seem not very compatible. Guido Marzorati, after studying the piano and the violin, changed radically music style moving from the classical to the progressive rock and psychedelic music, playing keyboards in various bands. After, about at the end of the 90', he consolidates his main music style choice, finding in the tradition of rock and song writing his most sincere and profound imagery. In August 1999 he records his first CD as a soloist (voice, guitar, harmonica) "Live at home". In the next years begun the rehearsals with Elisa Marzorati, who for the first time confronts herself with non classical music style, researching arrangements for her brothers compositions. They perform for the first time as an acoustic duo on December 14, 2000.
In 2002 begins the collaboration with the band “Guido Marzorati and The Blugos” (Elisa Marzorati piano, Iliano Vincenzi bass and Andrea Scarpari drums). They rearrange most of the songs of “Live at Home” and work on new pieces. In 2003 they record the CD "Journey of hope" which is released officially on March 3 2006, after many delays of the production due to the overlapping of several different proposals for the publication. Guido Marzorati and The Blugos perform in different combinations: Guido Marzorati solo (voice, guitar, harmonica), the acoustic duo Guido Marzorati and Elisa Marzorati (piano), the trio Guido Marzorati, Iliano Vincenzi (bass) e Andrea Scarpari (drums), and the entire band.
